Privacy Policy

SpeechDrafteris a pay-per-use speech writing tool. We collect the minimum we need to deliver your drafts and process your payment. We don't require an account. We don't sell your data. Your speeches and answers are stored so you can come back to them via your unique link; after 12 months they're automatically deleted.

• What you type into the form — names of the people involved, memories, tone preferences, length, and anything you write in free-text fields. We need this to write your speech.
• Your email address — we use it to send a backup copy of your drafts and the direct link to your result page.
• Payment metadata — Stripe processes your payment on their own systems. We never see or store your card number. We retain the Stripe session ID for reconciliation.
• Basic request data — IP address, browser type, and timestamps, kept in short-lived server logs for abuse prevention.

• No account system. We do not store passwords, since we don't have any.
• No third-party advertising trackers or ad cookies.
• No card details. Stripe handles payment end-to-end under PCI-DSS.

Your speech inputs are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate drafts. Per Anthropic's commercial terms, API content is not used to train their models. We do not share your inputs with any other third party for training or advertising.

When you place an order, we generate a 64-character random token that lives in your result URL. Anyone with the full URL can view the drafts — that's by design, so you can open the link on another device. We send the link only to the email you provided. Keep the URL private; treat it like a password.

We keep your order, drafts, and form inputs for 12 months after purchase so you can return to your drafts. After that, records are automatically deleted. You can also email hi@speechdrafter.com anytime to request earlier deletion — we'll action it within 7 days.

We rely on a small set of vendors to operate this service:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Anthropic — speech generation (Claude API).
• Supabase — database hosting.
• Vercel — application hosting and edge infrastructure.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.

Depending on where you live (EU/UK/California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Email hi@speechdrafter.com with your order ID or the email you used at checkout, and we'll respond within 30 days.

SpeechDrafteris not directed to children under 16. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us, contact us and we'll delete it.

If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, when appropriate, notify customers whose data is affected by email.
